The Game's L.A.X. Lands Near the Top, Solange Slides Into The Top 10

It was a close call for Hip Hop star The Game today, his third album entitled "L.A.X." came within 2,000 copies of hitting the #1 spot on the Billboard 200.


Shortly after Nielsen Soundscan revealed The Game's new album as the top merchandising album of the week, a new report was sent stunned showing Rock band Slipnot at #1 with just 2,000 copies over The Game. Despite the number mix up, The Game landed firmly at #2 with just over 238,000 copies sold.

Further down the chart, Solange Knowles, world Health Organization released the sophomore endeavor "Sol-Angel and The Hadley St. Dreams" last calendar week landed at #9 with 46,000 copies sold, smashing rumors that she had not made the top 10 earlier this week.

In related to news, Matthew Knowles' latterly issued a statement some his daughter's new album and vision.�According to the AP,�he confesses that some of her final choices may have taken away marketing note value from the album, just he was convinced by his daughter's passion. "It's kind of like if you've got a power forward, you just give them the ball, right?" he says. "I don't tell them what flirt to run, you simply give them the ball."
